The President of the Ghana Esports Federation, Igor Boumekpo, will attend the first-ever Constitutive General Assembly to be held in Senegal this month.
The event, organized by the National Committee for the Promotion of E-Sport (CONAPES) and supervised by the Ministry of Sports – Senegal, aims to establish a Pan-African Confederation for E-Sport and its related activities and professions.
The Constitutive General Assembly will bring together delegates from 45 African countries to establish this important African institution.
UNESCO, the Orange Middle East and Africa Group, HP Education Middle East and Africa, VISA, FIBA Africa, the African Union Sports Council, the Senegalese Basketball Federation, the Senegalese Olympic Committee, as well as leading eSport institutions from around the world, will also be attending the event.
The Constitutive General Assembly is a three-day event starting from September 24 to 27, 2023.
